🎨 Code Editor Styling Fixed!
What I Just Fixed:
1. SimpleCodeInput Styling ✅
Updated to match RichChatInput's code block style:
- ✅ Same background:
bg-[#1E1E1E]/30(semi-transparent dark) - ✅ Same border:
border-gray-700/50(subtle gray) - ✅ Same text color:
text-gray-200(#e5e7eb) - ✅ Same font: Monaco, Menlo, etc.
- ✅ Same font size: 0.875rem (14px)
- ✅ Same line height: 1.5
- ✅ Matching language badge with icon
2. Monaco Editor Styling ✅
Updated CSS to ensure Monaco matches:
- ✅ Transparent background (shows through to container)
- ✅ Text color: #e5e7eb (light gray, easy to read)
- ✅ Scrollbar styling matches app theme
- ✅ Better contrast for dark theme
- ✅ Smooth scrolling enabled
3. Consistent Visual Design ✅
Both editors now look like the existing code blocks in RichChatInput:
- Same container styling
- Same language badge design
- Same color scheme
- Same typography
🎨 Visual Comparison:
Before (Hard to Read):
┌─────────────────────────────────┐
│ python (Simple editor...) │ ← Different style
├─────────────────────────────────┤
│ def hello(): │ ← Dark text on dark bg
│ print("Hi") │ ← Hard to see!
└─────────────────────────────────┘
After (Easy to Read):
┌─────────────────────────────────┐
│ <> python │ ← Matching badge
├─────────────────────────────────┤
│ def hello(): │ ← Light gray text
│ print("Hi") │ ← Easy to read!
└─────────────────────────────────┘
